Balinese-Javanese

The Balinese-Javanese is a graceful, long-haired cat breed that combines the elegance of the Balinese with the expanded color palette of the Javanese. Closely related to the Siamese, these cats are admired for their silky, flowing coat, vivid sapphire-blue eyes, and outgoing personality. Today, many cat registries classify the Javanese as a color variation of the Balinese rather than a separate breed.

Medium-sized with a slender, athletic build, the Balinese-Javanese has long legs, a wedge-shaped head, large pointed ears, and a plume-like tail. Unlike many long-haired breeds, its fine, single-layer coat has no dense undercoat, making it less prone to tangles and relatively easy to groom.

Balinese-Javanese cats are exceptionally intelligent, curious, and affectionate. They love spending time with their families, often following their owners from room to room and "chatting" with soft, melodic voices. Their playful nature makes them excellent companions for interactive games, climbing trees, puzzle toys, and even learning tricks.

This breed is highly social and does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. They get along well with children, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs, making them ideal pets for active households.
